MANIFESTO...
The Song Belongs to the Soul Who Wrote It
We believe in the raw, unpolished magic of a late-night demo.
We believe a melody shouldn't have to bargain with a middleman to be heard.
We believe that when a fan buys your music, every single penny belongs to you.
To the bedroom dreamers tracking vocals under blankets, the garage poets shaking the floorboards, and the independent labels keeping sonic histories alive: this is your marketplace, your stage, and your sanctuary.
Since 2004, Musical1.com has rejected the notion that music is merely content to be squeezed through an algorithm. We take 0% commission on your digital downloads. We run zero corporate ads. We choose connection over commerce, and independence over industry rules.
Turn the volume up. Clear away the noise. Welcome to a space where the music is still sacred.
The Resonance of Independence
Music is not a commodity to be mined; it is a piece of the human spirit captured in sound. For over two decades, we have existed as a digital canvas and an open marketplace for the unfiltered voice.
A Sacred Pact: 100% to the Creator
In an era where art is often diluted by middlemen, we stand quietly apart. We have built an uncompromising e-commerce ecosystem where you can sell your art exactly as you intended. When a listener connects with your sound and purchases a track, an album, or a music video, 100% of that financial energy flows directly to you.
- Zero Commission: We do not take a single penny from your digital sales.
- Direct Payouts: Every sale lands immediately in your account, unhindered by corporate delays.
- Complete Ownership: You set your own prices, curate your digital storefront, and keep full rights to your masters.
Beyond Audio: Your Visual Canvas
True expression rarely stops at the sound wave. On Musical1, your marketplace is multi-dimensional. You can easily bundle and sell:
- Full-length high-fidelity audio albums and standalone singles
- Independent music videos, documentaries, and visual art files
- Exclusive digital image galleries and lyric books to accompany the listening experience
Uncluttered Spaces
We believe art requires room to breathe, and transactions shouldn't feel corporate. You will find no jarring third-party advertisements, no flashing sponsor banners, and no artificial noise here. Just clean, open spaces dedicated entirely to the craft, the melody, and the direct line between creator and fan.
Sustained by the Collective
We do not sell your presence to advertisers, nor do we tax your livelihood. Instead, Musical1 is nurtured by the very community that calls it home. While anyone can set up a storefront and start selling for free, our journey is sustained by Friends of Musical1—voluntary artist contributions that keep our servers humming, our marketplace secure, and our collective sanctuary thriving.
Step Into the Current
Whether you are here to build your independent digital storefront or to invest directly in the raw frequencies of an underground creator, you are part of the harmony.
Open your shop, share your sound, and keep what you earn. Welcome home
